Restoring green cover to areas devastated by earthquake and erosion. Every leaf that shades, every fruit eaten by a bird or human, is recorded as reward for you.
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Musnad Ahmad)
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was among history’s earliest and most passionate advocates for environmental stewardship. He declared that planting a tree is an act of charity — a Sadaqah — for which you are rewarded each time a bird, an animal, or a human being benefits from it. In a region as fragile and vulnerable as Azad Kashmir, tree planting is not merely environmental good practice — it is a spiritual act with lasting consequences.
Tayyib Foundation’s Tree Plantation project restores green cover to areas devastated by the earthquake and subsequent erosion. Trees prevent landslides, improve water retention, provide shade and fruit, purify the air, and restore ecosystems. Each tree planted is a Sadaqah Jariyah that continues to give — in this world and, by Allah’s mercy, in the next.
“There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it, but it is regarded as a charitable gift for him.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Sahih al-Bukhari)
When you donate to our tree plantation programme, you are planting ongoing reward. Every leaf that provides shade, every fruit that nourishes, every root that prevents a landslide — these are all ongoing acts of charity flowing from your single donation.
Roots stabilise fragile mountain slopes.
For people, birds and animals alike.
Cleaner air; better water retention.
Reward continuing for every leaf.
