The 2005 earthquake did not only destroy homes and schools — it devastated the spiritual heart of communities. Masajid that had stood for generations, where generations had prayed, married, and been laid to rest, were reduced to rubble. For deeply religious communities whose entire social and spiritual life revolves around the masjid, this loss was profound.
Tayyib Foundation took on the sacred task of rebuilding these houses of Allah ﷻ. With the generous support of donors like you, we have constructed four masajid from scratch and provided significant support to many others throughout the region.
